Nestled beside Safa Park, Dubai’s largest green space, Park Lamar offers a rare blend of natural tranquility and urban vibrancy. Luxury sustainable apartments by David Chipperfield in Dubai’s Safa Park
Park Lamar redefines urban living in Dubai with a focus on public space and sustainability. Challenging the typical single-use, glass-clad tower, this development prioritises community and longevity. With its balanced width and height, Park Lamar offers a flexible design that adapts to changing needs over time. The building integrates a series of social streets and atriums, designed as central hubs for interaction, while landscaped terraces provide tranquil green spaces.
Despite its large scale, Park Lamar maintains a human-centered approach. The ground floor seamlessly connects with Safa Park, leading into a light-filled atrium that serves as a vertical promenade. The building is conceptually divided into walkable “micro-neighbourhoods,” complete with social spaces and deep garden terraces on the western side. These terraces offer much-needed outdoor areas, bringing in light and greenery.
The development features 200 luxury residences, ranging from two- to five-bedroom units in various layouts, including simplexes, duplexes, and triplexes. Residents can choose from four prestigious interior designers, including Charles Zana. The design is deeply connected to its surroundings, blending indoor and outdoor spaces, with framed views and perforated exteriors that maximise natural light and comfort.
Park Lamar is also a model of sustainable design. Led by David Chipperfield Architects (DCA), the building employs a fabric-first strategy, using local materials and passive environmental techniques. Features like solar shading, local stone, and energy-efficient balconies reduce heat and minimise energy consumption.
